About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Caretaker who will focus on the care and maintenance of our brand-new residential development.  Willow by Azure features 76 architecturally designed terrace homes located in the thriving community of North Lakes.

The Caretaker will be responsible for ensuring the presentation, safety and functionality of all common areas across the community.

Core Responsibilities Include

Groundskeeping and Gardening:

• Maintain and enhance the appearance of the common area gardening, including lawns, gardens, median strips and internal shared areas

• Maintain cleanliness, functionality and orderly presentation of all common areas including pathways, driveways, restrooms, and other public spaces

• Perform routine gardening tasks such as watering, trimming, pruning, weeding, raking, planting, mulching and fertilizing throughout the community and external areas

• Conduct regular inspections of the townhouse complexes to identify & action maintenance needs and oversee maintenance works with external contractors as needed

• Monitor and maintain the condition of common areas, ensuring cleanliness, safety and presentation

Day-to-Day Onsite

• Foster a positive and welcoming community atmosphere through courteous and respectful interactions

• Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential safety hazards & ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures

Reporting and Documentation

• Report any significant issues or emergencies to the management team

• Provide data for regular reports on maintenance operations, day-to-day Caretaking, and resident feedback

• Provide administration support where required, aiding community operations and compliance

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

• Great attitude and good cultural fit

• Previous gardening or caretaking experience essential

• Previous facilities maintenance experience would be ideal, but not essential

• Basic knowledge of maintenance tasks such as cleaning, general maintenance, repairs or other transferrable experience would be advantageous

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour tasks
