We are seeking a proactive and service-oriented Building Caretaker for One Earle Lane, a premium, brand-new apartment building located in Toowong. This is an onsite, full-time position ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining a high standard, works well with contractors, and values creating a clean, functional, and welcoming environment for residents.

Key Responsibilities:

As the onsite Building Caretaker, you will be responsible for the ongoing presentation, cleanliness, safety, and function of the buildings and common areas. Working cohesively as part of the onsite team and closely with residents you will:

• Maintain gardens, landscaped zones, and ensure common areas are clean and presentable

• Conduct regular inspections and coordinate scheduled and reactive maintenance

• Oversee and liaise with contractors for services such as cleaning, landscaping, and repairs

• Manage building systems and amenities including pools, lifts, waste areas, and shared facilities

• Respond to resident queries professionally and escalate issues where appropriate

• Monitor WHS compliance and report on incidents or hazards

• Maintain accurate records and update job tracking systems as required

About You

You are reliable, organised, and take pride in your work. You will enjoy autonomy while being part of a larger support network.  You’ll bring:

• Previous experience in a building, caretaking, or facilities management role

• Hands-on and confidence in maintenance coordination and contractor supervision

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• Comfortable working as a team and using technology to track tasks

• High attention to detail with a calm, solution-focused attitude

• Understanding of caretaking agreements, WHS, and by-law obligations [required]

• Gardening or property presentation experience will be well regarded

What We Offer

• Training and a supportive and friendly workplace culture

• The opportunity to make a real difference in the presentation and upkeep of a brand new, premium residential development

• Monday to Friday work – no weekend shifts

• All tools and equipment are provided onsite for your use

• Uniform provided and up to $150 boot allowance

• Long-term work within a respected, well-managed residential community
